After Christmas break, the curriculum resumed with weekly short stories, articles, and new novels. The fifth graders are reading Narnia, the sixth graders are reading Hatchet, and seventh graders are reading Touching Spirit Bear. All three grades are really enjoying the novels. The fifth and sixth graders are also working on interactive notebooks for the year.

Britney Rueb won the 120-pound division and was voted by the coaches as the outstanding wrestler. Other champions were Hadlee Kracht-126 who also won the pinners award, PeytonHellmann-138andAshley Tolsma-165.LeahWhittington wassecondat132,andHope Kemnitz finished fourth at 185.
