National Pride in Foodservice Week is February 5th-9th. Pride in Foodservice Week applauds nutrition, foodservice professionals and other members of the dietary team. Recognition and gratitude are well deserved for people who work in these fields. The Avon School District has three foodservice professionals that deserverecognitionforallthat they do to provide and prepare good school lunches for the staff and students. Avon’s foodservice professionals are Jennifer Ridgway, Angie Ferwerda, and Heidi Penning.

The Bon Homme County 4-H Jr LeaderswillbehostingFamily Fun Night at the 4-H Center in Tyndall (1910 Birch St.) on Monday, February 19th at 6:30 pm. Shooting Sports, Rabbit & Poultry, Horse, Livestock and Craft Exhibits will be highlighted. We will also have a shortinformationpresentation for parents so they can get a better understanding of what the 4-H program has to offer. This is open to all youth ages 5-18 years of age.
