Several golf tournaments took place in July at the Bon Homme Golf Course. The format for all of these tournaments was a two person scramble. Championship Flight Winners were as follows: Kortan Sanitation Tourney-Marshall Cihak & Jay Kriz, Women's Tourney-Michelle Olson & Raja Brandt, Ag Classic-Dan Fathke & Travis Stockholmn, Senior Tourney-Rocky Brinkman & Glen Schneider.

Four Wagner ball players are part of Tabor Post #183 which has earned a spot at the South Dakota Legion State Tournament after their win at districts.
Read moreThe second day of the tournament matched us up with the other undefeated team from day one, Dakota Valley. Make no mistake about it, Dakota Valley is one of the better teams in the state, but we came into this game unfocused, perhaps content with the fact that we had our tickets to the state tournament already in hand. Too many physical and mental errors were made in this one, something you just can’t do if you’re going to have a chance against a team of this caliber. Wagner would go down in defeat by a score of 10-0.

Avon teeners wrapped up a tough season with the regional tournament in Tyndall July 12th and 13th. They were no-hit by a tough Scotland/Menno team 10-0. Devin Rucktaeschel and Tyler Tjeerdsma did the pitching.
