The Wagner Rotary Club met on Wednesday, December 21st at the Rotary Building for one of their last meetings of the year. After the meeting was called to order guests were introduced. Rotarian Patty Frei introduced her daughter Callie who just graduated from SDSU, and Rotarian Jamie Soukup introduced his wife Charlene who was his program for the day also.

Christmas cards were written to be senttotheVeteran'shospitalinSiouxFalls.Demonstrations were done by Rilyn and Landon. A Christmas party with games, gifts and food was enjoyed following the meeting. Next meeting is set for Jan 8, 2023 at 6:00 pm.

Read moreFood insecurity has continued to increase in Bon Homme County as those who volunteer with the Feeding South Dakota food distributions have noticed each month, as well as a continued increase in utilization of the Bon Homme and Scotland Food Pantries. Little relief is in sight with the prices of everything increasing. In order to assist individuals and families to have Christmas dinner, or to have enough food to feed their children during Christmas vacation from school, members of the Bon Homme Food Pantry board packed Christmas boxes December 6 and delivered the boxes December 7 in the five towns in the county.
