The Bon Homme Community Choir is making final preparations for the 2024 Performances of 'Love Lifted Up' an Easter Musical by Jason Cox and Joseph Habedank. ANDREA SOULEK HONORED AS THE MARCH VETERAN OF THE MONTH

There are over 200 years of service including enlisted and non-enlisted service when it comes to the history of women in the United States military. During their time in the military, women have had to overcome decades of obstacles to get where they are today. Today women are serving in greater numbers, are able to be in combat roles, and hold leadership positions.

Norma Jean Horner, 85, of Wagner died Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, March 4 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

National Honor Society (NHS) has been in existence for over a century. The society encompasses five main pillars including scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Andes Central is unique as opposed to other schools in the area in the aspect that they allow sophomores to become prospective members, allowing those students to be a part of the organization for longer than the usual two years as a junior and senior.
