Read moreThe annual Wagner Community Thanksgiving meal was served Thanksgiving Thursday, November 23rd. The Wagner Community School graciously opened its doors to allow for the community event that went from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tracy Leines came in early to open the doors for the volunteers to begin setting up. The food was all donated by an anonymous community member. This donor has solely been funding the Wagner Community Thanksgiving meal for the past eight years and has even paid to have permanent items such as roasters on hand for the event. The volunteers planned for about 175 people to be served. Scott Alderink and Nick Dion volunteered their time and resources to cook all of the food at Booms before bringing it to the school to be served. The event would not have been possible were it not for Scott’s part in organizing the event. A big thank you to everyone who donated their time to come out and help serve or be a part of the meal and to the community for all coming together and making the annual Wagner Community Thanksgiving meal such a great time and success.
