Read moreFood insecurity has continued to increase in Bon Homme County as those who volunteer with the Feeding SD food distributions have noticed each month, as well as a continued increase in utilization of the Bon Homme and Scotland Food Pantries. As a means to assist those in need, the Bon Homme Food Pantry board provided 247 individuals and families with the ingredients for a Christmas meal. The meals were packed and distributed to the five towns in the county December 6.

Read moreThe Wagner Pool Fundraising team hosted a holiday hayride event this past Sunday, December 10th. The event not only had hayrides, but also had vendors, games, Santa’s helpers, soup and refreshments. Kokesh Farms provided the hayrides around Wagner. The soup and drinks were provided by Midtowne. The Boys and Girls Club baked cookies for the evening. All profits from the holiday event and freewill donation went directly to the Wagner Pool Fundraising campaign.
