On Sunday, October 3, Avon’s Oral Interpretation Team spent their afternoon performing their pieces and receiving feedback at the Oral Interp Retreat. The team performed each of their pieces twice, and used the judges critiques to prepare for their upcoming meet.

Loretta Knodel will be directing her fourth one-act play this year. On October 3, the Avon High School choir visited Luxury 5 movie theater in Mitchell to watch Dear Evan Hansen, a musical turned movie. "I wanted to take my choir kids to Mitchell to see this movie because they've been working hard to fundraise during their time in the department, and I really enjoy the soundtrack,” said choir director Autumn Schultz.
