Rosary will be Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Lake Andes with visitation following. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Lake Andes following the visitation. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cathlic Cemetery in Spencer, NE at a later date. The library has received four selections - one non-fiction, three fiction based on the Civil Rights Movement across the globe. The non-fiction is titled Down Along with that Devil’s Bones, A Reckoning with Monuments, Memory, and The Legacy of White Supremacy authored by Connor Towne O’Neill. The three fiction selections are His Only Wife by Peace Adzo Medie, Furia by Yamile Saied Mendez and Impersonation by Heidi Pitlor. These are available for check out by our library patrons.
