Residents of Parkview Villa Apartments are inviting all area “Trick or Treaters” to stop by for some treats on Halloween night. Residents of the apartments are hoping area children can stop by the apartments and get some treats as they make their rounds during the evening. It is the hope of the residents that they can join in the fun and be able to see all the great costumes the children will have on that evening. The residents will be waiting at the front door of the apartment building with treats to hand out to children who are out having their “trick or treat” fun.

Attendance is still a little low since there is a great deal of grain being harvested in the countryside. Weber gave thanks for the delicious meal we were served and asked for guidance as we go about our community as Rotarians.

Read moreThe Wagner Community Foundation was able to fulfill three grants this year totaling $52,000. The three grant recipients were the Charles Mix County Historical Society Museum, the Boys & Girls Club of the Missouri River Area, and the Wagner Pool Fundraising Committee. The Historical Society was granted $20,000 to use for putting on new roofs to several of their outdoor historic buildings. The Boys & Girls Club received $20,000 to continue to keep providing the Wagner area with programming and sports offered to their members. The Wagner Pool Fundraising Committee was granted $12,000 to go towards their on-going efforts to be able to build Wagner a new swimming pool.
