AVON SCHOOL DISTRICT NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT KAMRON HAASE

The Avon School District hired Kamron Haase for the 2024-2025 school year as the Physical Education and Health teacher. Kamron is a first-yearteacher.Hegrewup in Hayti and is a graduate of the Hamlin School District. After graduation, Kamron attended college at North Dakota State University to obtain his teaching degree and did his student teaching at the Henry School District.

AVON EARNS THE WIN TO BRING RECORD TO 7-0

AvonhostedScotland/Menno Friday night where they took the win 58-20. The Pirates started off slow as the 1st quarter ended with a score of 16-14 as Aziah Meyer had a 96 yard run with Al'Shamon Gunter adding the 2-point conversion, and Meyer added a 51 yard touchdown run and 2-point conversion. The second quarter again found Meyer with a 55 yard touchdown run (Trent Soukup completed the 2-point conversion), a 52 yard run and a 3-yard run (Dominic Doom ran in the 2-point conversion) to end the first half 38-20.
