Roy Wade, Sr., 74, of Lake Andes died unexpectedly Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 26 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Library news

The Lake Andes Library board is the controlling body for our public library. They make suggestions to the librarian, make requests to the city council on behalf of the library and hire workers for the library. We meet quarterly and our next meeting will be June 9th. Because of the social distancing policy being followed at the library our meeting may look different than usual. If you have a concern to be brought before the board please contact the library so we can put your concern on our agenda.
