It was a beautiful day for running on Monday, September 23. The Wagner Cross Country team attended the meet at Bon Homme. If you are not familiar with the golf course at Bon Homme, you need to know that this golf course is super hilly. For runners, this is super challenging as the drive it takes to get up a hill is a lot of work. The kids did a great job and did not disappoint. Way to go Red Raider Cross Country!!
Read moreThe Red Raiders fell 13 to 29 on Friday to Wessington Springs. Although going into half tied 13 all, the Raiders were not able to put togeth-er any points in the 2nd half. Offensively for the Raiders, Carlos Galindo was 8-15 with 66 passing yards. On the ground, Javian Pesicka contributed 33 yards and Galindo added on 49 yards and a touchdown. Shea Kjeldgaard also contributed a 20 yard touchdown catch of his own.
Read moreThe Wagner volleyball team traveled to Sioux Falls to compete in the Pentagon Tournament. In pool play the Red Raiders first faced the Howard Tigers and picked up the win with scores of 25-20 and 25-10. In the second match of the day the Raiders met up with Florence/Henry and won with scores of 19-25, 25-20, and 2519. The last pool match was against Ethan and the Raiders came up short with scores of 19-25 and 21-25. The Lady Raiders finished second in pool play and entered bracket play where they met up with Mount Vernon/Plankinton where it was a good battle but lost 23-25 and 19-25.

Read moreDuring the Andes Central homecoming football game against the Burke Bulldogs on Friday, September 20th, the Thunderhawks dominated the field, ending the game at halftime with a final score of 66-7. Isaac Wunder led the Thunderhawks in offense with 102 rushing yards, one touchdown and 53 pass yards. Sabas DeHaan also stepped up for the team with 77 rush yards and one touchdown. With 71 rush yards, one touchdown, 15 receiving yards, and two punt return touchdowns, Jamian Medicine Horn was also an offensive force for the Thunderhawks.
