Read moreThe Dante City Council presented the Ernie Kocer Family with a plaque honoring Ernie Kocer for his dedicated years to the City of Dante. He was a City Trustee for 46 years. Along with his Trustee duties, Ernie & Theresa did numerous hours of volunteer work for Dante. Read moreAvon Public Library held the 3rd session of their Summer Reading Program on July 11th. Thirty-nine children were in attendance. Our guest reader was Sara Hammel from Novato, California. The kids enjoyed the read-aloud, made jellyfish crafts and had jellyfish snacks. Our next session will be July 25th at 12:30pm. Remember to be working on our A-Z author challenge. An evening session was held for the junior high and high school students. The parishes enjoyed a potluck and family night on Wednesday and the kids enjoyed the water fight fun on Thursday.
