Wagner community memorial Hospital - Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on October 4 with ten members present. President Pearl Weber called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer.

Read moreCole Bergin is this week’s spotlighted Andes Central Senior. Cole is the son of Jayme and Wayne Jr. Bergin. He has one sister Callie, who is a freshman at Andes Central. Football and Future Farmers of America (FFA) are two activities that Cole has been a part of while in high school. His favorite class and teacher have been science taught by Mrs. Kristen Maynard. Walking tacos has been his favorite school lunch. Cole’s community service has included helping to manage a pheasant farm/hunting lodge. His advice for underclassmen would be to have fun and let loose.

Read moreUnder the direction of Julie Rysavy, Andes Central once again has a marching band. Marching band teaches the students different responsibilities. It also helps gets students involved and helps to foster school and community spirit. Being a part of Andes Central’s marching band gives the students a sense of pride. They have been working hard and now will be able to show off their talent and hard work.
