Fall has always been my favorite season! The beautiful array of colors: red, orange, yellow and brown. Here in the Dakotas, we not only enjoy the color changing of the leaves, but we are also blessed with some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets as the weather begins to cool and harvest season begins. What an exciting time. Harvest season is when your hard work begins to “pay it back” as combines roll through the fields. The excitement of who starts and/or finishes first, watching the yield monitors as you cut through each field, neighbors helping neighbors stay ahead of mother nature, and of course keeping close track of daily markets and basis levels.

The Red Raider Volleyball team came out ready to play against the Parkston Trojans in Region play Tuesday, October 31st. The Lady Red Raiders took revenge with the big win with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 16-25 and 25-16.

The Wagner Volleyball team hosted Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Tuesday, October 31st in the first-round of regions. The Red Raiders swept the Blackhawks in three straight sets with scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 25-20.

President Elect Jordan Weber called the meeting to order for the Wagner Rotarians on November 1st at their meeting room on Main Street. Rotarian/Pastor Bill Heermann gave thanks for the food and asked for guidance for all the Rotarians as they go about their daily lives in the Wagner Community.
