BON HOMME COUNTY CHILD PROTECTION TEAM HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

The Bon Homme County Child Protection (CP) Team has been meeting throughout the school year to identify needs of families in the county and to find ways to provide for those needs. The CP team is comprised of representatives from each school district (administrators, school counselors, and school psychologists), Lewis and Clark Behavioral Health therapists, county law enforcement, and area social service agencies. We collaborate on ways to raise funds as needs arise in Bon Homme County, including the communities of Avon, Scotland, Springfield, Tabor, and Tyndall. So far this year the team has purchased clothing like extra pants, socks, etc. for elementary schools in Avon, Scotland, Springfield, and Tyndall. We have been able to provide winter weather gear for several families as well. Thanks to the generosity of community members, Christmas trees and decorations were collected and donated to a number of local families to decorate their homes. The team also collected financial donations from community membersandwillbeproviding holidaymealsforseveralfamilies inourcounty.TheCPteam wouldliketoextendaheartfelt thank you to all who have contributed to these causes.
