Kim Wayne Joseph Hakl, born August 21, 1953, peacefully passed away at his home on February 21 in Tripp. Kim was a son to Richard and Delores Hakl of Lake Andes. He attended Lake Andes public school K-12 and graduated with the Class of 1972. He was infatuated with reading everything and enjoyed music, pinball machines and foosball tables, if he wasn’t lending a hand at the Hakl Trucking shop or grandparents’ farms.

Scott was a very active member of the Wagner community. He was a member of the Lions Club, Fire Department, Rotary, Labor Day Committee, former President of the Chamber of Commerce and a big sponsor of the Wagner Wrestling Club. Work was his life. He was very dedicated to the store and the catering services and fundraiser feeds for many local organizations.

Funeral services for Rochelle Kay Wright, 70, of Eagle Lake, MN were held Monday, February 17 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
