Funeral Services for Randy Glenn, 30, of Lake Andes were Monday, September 11 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Hill Church Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Randy Christopher Glenn was born to David and Johnnie Mae Glenn in Phoenix City, AL on July 19, 1988. Randy made his journey to the Spirit World on September 6, 2018 at Ava’s House (Hospice) in Sioux Falls.

On September 21, 2017, Randy was diagnosed with Acute Congestive Heart Failure. He came to terms with his diagnosis. He started to make his journey, planning what he wanted. It was hard for the family to let him go but he asked not to be sad. He has made his peace with God. He was a happy soul, he loved a smile, handshake and a hug.

He made a lot of friends and touched a lot of hearts along the way. He had a contagious smile. Even though he was sick and dealing with his sickness his famous words were “You doing all right?” He had the biggest heart I know. He was always helping someone with a ride, food, clothes, money, even if it was his last dollar.

He made a family when he came to South Dakota. He met Collette Aungie and they have a son, Evan Clyde Aungie/Glenn.

Randy worked at SAPA in Yankton up until he was diagnosed. He got to see Mount Rushmore for the first time this past year.
