Funeral services for Lester Patterson, 53, of Oneida, WI were held Wednesday, February 28 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Burial was in the Hill Church Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Lester Duane Patterson, 53, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. He was born May 25, 1970, in Wagner to Nathan and Catherine (St. Pierre) Patterson. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Lester left us too soon, but his memory will forever be a source of comfort and strength.

Lester was known for his generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. His hard-working nature and considerate demeanor endeared him to all who knew him. Lester's devotion to his family and friends was unwavering, and he took immense pride in being a father and grandfather, always there to offer his love, support, and encouragement. His grandchildren loved spending time with their papa and were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with love and joy.

In his free time, Lester loved being outdoors, whether he was building a fire, working in the yard, or grilling up some steaks. He was also a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brewers, cheering them on with passion and enthusiasm. Music was another one of Lester's great loves, and he could often be found listening to his favorite songs and finding peace and happiness in the lyrics and melodies.

Lester had a wide circle of friends, a testament to his warm and welcoming nature. He had a knack for forging deep connections with others, making friends wherever he went. His genuine kindness and easygoing personality made him a joy to be around, and he was always there to offer support and encouragement to those in need. Lester cherished his friendships and was a true friend in every sense of the word.

Above all, Lester was known for his considerate nature and compassionate heart. He was always thinking of others, putting their needs before his own and going out of his way to make them feel valued and loved. His thoughtfulness and caring demeanor touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will endure.

He is survived by his children Priscilla (Cody) Belisle, Travis Dessart and Jayda Patterson; grandchildren, Yakson^sti, Emmett, Vivienne, Charlotte, Harrison, Evelyn, Elaina; mother, Catherine Drapeau; brothers, Nate, Garret, Jeff, Rod (Michelle), Greg; girlfriend, Judy Mathes; canine companion, Molly; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Lester was preceded in death by his father, Nathan.
