VIOLA HARE-PICOTTE

father Butch Picotte; siblings Hillary and Sunnie; and her son Brayton Hare.

Viola was preceded in death by her mother Mary-Ann Hare, older brother Lionel Hare, Sr., and uncle Leonard Hare Jr.

Viola died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, WY. Funeral services were held November 5 at the Marty Community Center. Burial was in the Hill Church Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Viola was born September 14, 1976 to MaryAnn Hare and Henry Butch Picotte in Yankton. She grew up in Wagner. She received her GED, studied at United Tribes Technical College and graduated in 1988. She moved to Ft. Washakie, WY and worked as an Office Manager for Eastern Shoshone Tribal Health until her back surgery. She continued to raise her son as a single mom.
