Sharon Diane Hayward, 86 of Sawyer, MI formerly of Avon, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Woodland Terrace of Bridgman, MI.

Sharon was born November 14,1937inBuffaloCenter, Iowa the daughter of the late Naaman and Esther (Crone) Seefeld. She married Jerald Hayward September 2, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Sharon was an RN at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, and member of First Baptist Church, Avon. Shespentmanyyearsinchildren’s ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Survivors include her sons: Daniel (Suzanne) Hayward, John(Lindy)Hayward and Chad Hayward; eight grandchildren: Drew (Sarah Grace), Ethan (Julia), Will (Kennedy), Wesley, J.C., Rosie, David and Marcus Hayward; a great grandson: Leon; two sisters: Marilyn (Dallas) Coon and Carol (Dean) Dolphin; a brother: Roger Seefeld.

Arrangements were entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Bridgman, MI and Peters Funeral Chapel in Avon.
