BRAXTON KREBER

Braxton John Kreber, 14, of Dante, went to his heavenly home Monday, May 20, 2024 the result of an accident while working on the family farm. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25 at the Wagner National Guard Armory. Burial was in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Braxton John Kreber was born April 9, 2010 in Yankton to Jeff and Amy (Peters) Kreber. He was baptized and recently confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church of Wagner. This was a decision that Braxton was extremely proud of as a devoted Christian. Braxton’s family often called him “chubbers” or “Fred.” Braxton was a very intelligent young man who had just finished his 8th grade year at Wagner Community School. He was always kind and helpful. He often helped others in his class with their homework after his was completed. His dream was to become a hydro-engineer.

Braxton enjoyed playing video games and hanging out with his friends. Often he could be found playing video games late into the night. Braxton was a family man. He was often known for his radiant smile and affectionate hugs that he gave everyone. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and making them laugh with his sense of humor and many facial expressions. He was great help on the farm and always offered to watch his younger siblings. Braxton was an affectionate, loving person with his greatest strength being a forgiving person. He was a great brother and son.

Thankful for having shared his life are his parents Amy and Mike Blaha of Dante; siblings: Isabella, Sabrina, Brayden, Ivanna and Bridger; grandpa Tyrone Peters of Wagner; grandma Jane Blaha of Dante; several aunts, uncles and many friends.

Braxton was preceded in death by his grandma Mariana; grandpa John Blaha; grandparents Jack and Beverly Kreber.
