My son is a cub scout, and I am den leader. Recently our den met outside and practiced putting up tents and learned how to build a fire. With efforts to stay distanced, every scout made his own s’more, and we had such a fun time.

President Bryan led the members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to our United States Flag. When SDGF&P told me we probably wouldn’t live long enough to draw “any elk” tags even with these points, we opted for “cow elk” tags in Unit H2B23 which included our campsite above Deerfield at an elevation of 6800 feet. Laurie asked the membership to pray for our Rotarian Jerry Weber and for the Merle Denker family. Thanks was given for the beautiful day, the nourishing food, and for continued guidance in serving our Wagner Community. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by the Rotary members in place of singing.
