The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera sponsored a 12th annual 8th Grade Career Fair on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Wagner National Guard Armory. Partnering with the South Dakota Department of Health, the event also included “Camp Med Lanes”, which featured several different healthcare career choices. Thisiswillthe 84th year of gathering in the Lords name to tell the Easter Story through narration and song. The Cantata was first organized in 1939 by the Avon School Principal. We will be underthedirectionoftheAvon Choir Director Autumn Schultz once again. The Community choirismadeofmanymembers from the surrounding towns, into Nebraska, as far as Sioux Falls, and Jr High and High School students from area schools. We welcome any new memberswhowouldlovetojoin us in song and looking forward to seeing all the returning members. This years Cantata will be 'Echoes of Easter' arranged by Cliff Duran, Cap Kirkland & Phil Nitz.
