The annual Uecker picnic was held on June 27 at the Wagner City Park. With this being the 100 Anniversary of the event, there was a nice crowd of descendents of Charles and Louise Uecker. They had seven children: William, Mabel Thaler, Pearl Jerke, Lonnie, Harry, Melvin and LaVerne. They were blessed with 33 grandchildren, 24 of them still living. Seventeen attended the picnic.
